A professional services business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and support the business through its next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role, offering responsibility for the day-to-day running of finance while partnering with senior leadership to deliver accurate reporting and meaningful financial insight. You will manage a small team and play a key role in strengthening processes, controls, and overall financial performance.

What will you do as a Finance Manager?
*Oversee the day-to-day finance function
*Manage and support a small finance team
*Supervise purchase ledger and sales ledger activities
*Ensure accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow monitoring
*Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and procedures
*Oversee bank reconciliations and transactional accuracy
*Support with audit processes and liaise with external accountants
*Maintain financial data within Xero and drive system efficiencies
*Provide financial insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
*Remain hands-on where needed across transactional finance
What do you need as a Finance Manager?
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
*Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior finance role
*Strong management accounts and reporting experience
*Comfortable overseeing transactional finance and supporting a team
*Experience with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting systems
*Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
*Able to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
