Private Client Solicitor (Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate Level)
*Location: Chichester or Haywards Heath
*Job Type: Full-time / Hybrid (Ideally 3 days Office Based)
*Salary: Circa £55,000 - £80,000 (DofE)
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor with approximately 5+ years’ PQE to join our growing team in either our Chichester or Haywards Heath office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced Partner and play a key role in supervising and developing a small team, within a large firm. The successful candidate will inherit an immediate and varied caseload and have the opportunity to significantly shape and grow the department locally.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a full and diverse caseload including Wills, Probate and estate administration, Trusts, Estate planning, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
*Support the Partner in running and developing the Private Client function.
*Supervise and mentor junior team members.
*Build and maintain strong client relationships.
*Contribute to the continued growth of the department in Chichester or Haywards Heath.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Solicitor with circa 5+ years’ PQE in Private Client.
*Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
*Confident handling a full caseload from instruction to completion.
*Strong client care and interpersonal skills.
*Ambitious, proactive, and keen to play a role in team development and growth.
