We are committed to ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical installations across a wide variety of end markets. Based in Leeds, in a brand new office and warehouse facility we have ambitious plans for growth over the next five to seven years
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase and sales invoices
*Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
*Preparing and posting journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
*Assisting with month-end and year-end close
*Preparing VAT returns (UK)
*Maintaining accurate accounting records
*Supporting management reporting and ad-hoc finance tasks
*Liaising with external accountants where required
About You
*AAT qualified or studying (or equivalent experience) OR proven experience as a Bookkeeper
*Strong working knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
*Experience using accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP)
*Confident with Excel and financial data
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Able to work independently and manage deadlines
Desirable (but not essential)
*Experience supporting audits or statutory accounts
