Job Title: Commercial Development Executive
Location: North Somerset

The office is expanding following internal promotions and continued investment, offering a strong technical support structure alongside a collaborative and ambitious team environment. The business is focused on empowering individuals to build and scale their own portfolios with full backing.
Role Summary:
This is a pure new business role focused on building a commercial insurance portfolio from the ground up. You’ll be supported by internal lead generation, introducer relationships, and cross-referrals, while taking ownership of developing your own pipeline. With a clear route into handling larger and more complex risks, this role is ideal for someone looking to establish and grow a book with long-term progression in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate new business: Build your own portfolio from scratch, directly impacting your earnings and progression
• Convert inbound opportunities: Maximise leads from internal teams and introducer networks
• Develop introducer relationships: Build partnerships with accountants, legal firms, and other professionals
• Conduct client meetings: Win new business through strong, face-to-face engagement
• Drive pipeline activity: Maintain consistent self-generated business to accelerate growth
Requirements:
• Strong background in commercial insurance across multiple product lines
• Proven ability or strong desire to win new business
• Confident in face-to-face client engagement
• Self-starter with a disciplined, proactive approach
