Job Title: SEN Support Assistant
Job Type: Temporary
Location: NCC - Hackney Campus
Industry: Education
Length of contract: Temporary - Ongoing
Key Responsibilities*Work as part of the Supported Learning Team to support and include learners with learning difficulties, disabilities, and other barriers to learning within the curriculum
*Support the quality of teaching and learning across curriculum areas
*Support the progress and attainment of identified learners with additional SEND/EHCPs to achieve success in their course of study
*Promote the highest level of independence for each student while ensuring they are always in a safe and healthy environment
*Provide personal care for students who require it
Skills & Experience*Experience in learning support or support work with young people with learning disabilities (e.g. autism, ADHD)
*Experience working within an educational environment providing academic or personal care support
*Experience with or willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs
*Available to interview immediately
*Right to Work in the UK and an Enhanced Adult & Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or registered on the update service
