Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Post Completion Administrator with a strong background in residential conveyancing to join our growing team. This is a key compliance-focused role, responsible for managing all post-completion processes while ensuring adherence to regulatory and lender requirements.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a thorough understanding of Land Registry procedures, SDLT submissions, and post-completion workflows.
Key ResponsibilitiesPost-Completion Duties
*Manage all post-completion matters across:
*Purchases
*Sales
*Transfers of Equity
*Re-mortgages
*Prepare, check, and submit Land Registry applications (AP1, FR1, etc.)
*Handle and respond to Land Registry requisitions efficiently
*Ensure accurate registration of titles, charges, and restrictions
*Liaise with lenders to satisfy post-completion and panel requirements
*Monitor post-completion diaries and ensure all deadlines are met
*Ensure all undertakings are fulfilled and recorded appropriately
*Coordinate with accounts to reconcile and return residual client balances
*Close files in line with firm procedures once registration is complete
File Audit & Compliance
*Conduct regular audits of residential conveyancing files (open and closed)
*Review files in line with:
*SRA Accounts Rules and Code of Conduct
*UK Finance Mortgage Lenders’ Handbook
*Internal policies and compliance frameworks
*Identify risks, compliance issues, and training needs
*Prepare clear audit reports with recommendations
*Work with fee earners and management to resolve audit findings
*Maintain accurate audit logs and compliance records
Key Skills & Experience
*3-5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing post-completion
*Strong knowledge of:
*HM Land Registry procedures
*Lender requirements and obligations
*Experience handling requisitions and complex registrations
*Previous exposure to file auditing or compliance (highly desirable)
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
*Experience with case management systems (LawLink advantageous)
