Junior CAD Technician
+ Training + Progression + Mon - Fri + Benefits
Nottingham, Colwick, NG4 2JR.
Do you have a background using AutoCAD? Are you an aspiring CAD Technician looking for a new role for an expanding business who offer long-term career development, focused training to improve your skills and the opportunity to work for a variety of clients?
On offer is the opportunity to join an industry specialist, they work for a range of blue-chip clients across multiple sectors including retail, warehousing and engineering. They provide full design, build and installation services in their local area and around the UK.
In this varied role, you will be primarily responsible for completing CAD drawings in AutoCAD 2D and 3D. You will also be altering drawings, working alongside senior designers to create specifications and products ready for manufacturing. You will receive on-the-job training to develop your skills and work a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday.
This role would suit a candidate with a CAD background, looking for a company who develop their staff and offer a variety of interesting projects to work on.
The Role:
*Drawing in both 2D and 3D using AutoCAD
*Working alongside Architects and Senior Technicians
*Completing BOM and product specifications
*Monday to Friday (9AM5PM)
The Person:
*Background in AutoCAD or similar
*Looking for a Junior CAD role
*Commutable to Nottingham
