We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor on a temporary six-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £38.79 per hour on an Umbrella basis.
The ideal candidate will experience conducting EPCs (Holding the relevant qualification), and have an in depth understanding of HHSRS.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Conducting comprehensive stock condition surveys across residential housing portfolios to assess property condition, lifecycle, and investment needs
*Carrying out Domestic Energy Assessments (DEAs) and producing EPCs in line with current legislation and accreditation standards
*Utilising DEA qualification knowledge to assess energy efficiency measures and support decarbonisation and Net Zero initiatives
*Recording and analysing data on building components including kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows, heating systems, and external elements
*Updating asset management systems with accurate survey findings, condition ratings, and compliance information
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
*EPC qualification is essential
*HHSRS experience required
Working hours:
*37 hours per week
*Monday - Friday
*3 days working from home
