A market-leading FMCG business require a Production Planning Team Leader to lead site planning, scheduling, and team delivery activities. Applicants need strong planning experience gained within a production, manufacturing, food, or FMCG or environment, with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver against demanding schedules.


The Production Planning Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating and delivering production activities across. The role would suit a hands-on and organised planning professional, who can combine planning, labour management, and leadership to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.


Specific duties of the Production Planning Team Leader include:


*Generate, manage, and deliver daily and weekly production plans
*Lead labour planning and forecasting to optimise efficiency and resource allocation
*Track production plan progress and adjust plans to ensure "on time, in full" delivery
*Lead, coach, and develop production teams including training, absence, and performance management
*Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance output
*Coordination with internal teams


Production Planning Team Leader applicants should meet the following criteria:
*Production planning, scheduling, or operations experience
*Strong understanding of labour planning, production control, and cost awareness
*Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
*Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
