Job Description:
Location: Oxford, OX4 4UY
Rate: £27.50 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are currently looking for a qualified Electrician to join a retrofit project in Oxford.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works as part of a building services upgrade. Duties will include:
*Installing PVC conduit and containment
*Installing, routing, and terminating cabling
*Electrical installation for additional Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
*Installation and wiring of sensors and control devices
*Working safely in occupied areas with minimal disruption to residents
*Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 and site safety procedures
*Maintaining good housekeeping and professional site conduct
Requirements
*Fully qualified Electrician
*Valid ECS or JIB card preferred
*Proven experience with retrofit electrical works
*Competent in PVC conduit systems and general containment
*Knowledge of FCU installations and controls an advantage
