The Role

Senior Business Support Manager
Professional Services | Leeds
We are working with a well-established professional services firm in Leeds to appoint a Senior Business Support Manager. This is a senior, trusted role at the heart of the business, supporting senior leaders and ensuring the smooth, effective running of the firm’s operational and administrative functions.
This position would suit someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, acting as a central point of coordination while helping to shape structure, processes and best practice.
The Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take overall responsibility for business support across the firm, ensuring high standards of service, consistency and efficiency. You will play a key role in enabling fee-earners and leaders to focus on their core work, while you oversee the infrastructure that underpins the business.
Key Responsibilities*Lead and develop the business support function, setting standards and driving continuous improvement
*Act as a senior point of contact for operational and administrative matters across the firm
*Manage and support a team of business support professionals
*Review, improve and embed processes to support business efficiency and growth
*Partner closely with senior leadership, providing trusted operational and organisational support
*Oversee office management, resourcing coordination and general business operations
*Support firm-wide projects, change initiatives and planning activity


The Person

About You*Proven experience in a senior business support, practice management, office management or operations support role within professional services
*Confident working with senior stakeholders and partners
*Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
*Highly organised, commercially aware and solutions-focused
*Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
