The Finance Director has already secured approval for a fully funded, end-to-end study pathway - from AAT through to CIMA or ACCA. This isn’t dependent on performance reviews, manager discretion, or budget changes. It’s a committed investment in your qualification and long-term career.
Think of this as a 5 year career plan - and it’s a path that’s already been trodden!
The person currently stepping up into a Management Accountant role started in this exact position just four years ago - a clear example of what’s achievable here. Their progression has created the need to backfill, as Purchase Ledger responsibilities remain. The difference with this opportunity is the forward planning: by the time you reach that level, the expectation is that a Senior Leadership Team seat will be ready for you.
Purchase Ledger will make up approx. 25% of the role as there’s a primary need for this to be done but take hold of it, refine it & the rest of your time will be supporting the FC will the production of the management accounts.
