Factory Operative
Location: Basildon, Essex
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 07:00am - 16:30pm
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
We are delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of ’Factory Operatives’, on a temporary to permanent basis!
Job Purpose:
We are looking for dedicated, hands-on candidates to join our local manufacturing client to learn the ropes of fabrication and machine operating. You will be working as part of a busy team to meet production deadlines and standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
*Measuring, cutting, drilling and assembling components with different materials.
*Operating factory machinery, including CNC machines for cutting and milling.
*Fitting finishing components and quality checking.
*Keeping the workspace clean, safe and adhering to health and safety protocols.
*To keep an accurate record of errors to ensure top quality at all times.
*To work under time specifications to meet production deadlines at all times.
Key Person Specification:
*You must have willingness to learn, high motivation to learn new skills.
*The role will be physical, lifting heavy products.
*A good eye for detail so ensure accuracy in assembly.
*Must be a reliable candidate looking for a long-term role to grow within the business.
