As an English Teacher, you will teach small classes of students with a range of additional learning needs, delivering engaging and highly differentiated lessons that support literacy, communication and confidence. You will create a structured and inclusive environment where students feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.

The school boasts excellent facilities and access to high-quality resources, enabling creative and effective teaching. You will be supported by a dynamic Headteacher and a collaborative team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants who are committed to achieving the best outcomes for every student. This role would suit a passionate and adaptable teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine interest in SEND. Previous experience working in a SEND setting is desirable but not essential.

Job Role:
*Teaching English to small classes of students with SEND
*Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
*Supporting students’ literacy, communication and confidence
*Creating a structured, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
*Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
*Using a range of strategies and resources to meet individual needs
*Assessing, monitoring and recording student progress
*Contributing to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
