The Company: A highly reputable, growing IFA business with offices across the country are currently recruiting an industry experienced and ideally Chartered Paraplanner to add to their expanding, remote-based technical team. This role/remit will suit a well-qualified, career Paraplanner who has experience working in a small, family-feel IFA setup and is looking for a flexible, home-based opportunity that remains hands on across a broad range of technical work.

*Working Setup: Remote/Home-based


Package: £50-60k base DOE + bonus and company benefits
*Bonus: Discretionary – Paid annually
*Holidays: 25-days + stats


The Role: To succeed in this role, you will have day to day responsibility for clients and will be expected to provide support for key areas of the financial planning process which include:
*Tax Planning: ISA and pension contributions & CGT planning
*Investment planning and retirement planning
*Estate planning


To achieve this, you will:
*Prepare and attend client meetings alongside the Financial Planner and produce meeting notes which accurately reflect the information gathered in order to fully document a client’s financial needs and objectives.
*Compile suitability reports
*Undertake support duties to the Financial Planner in order to effectively service the client in a fair and ethical manner.
*Maintain an ongoing relationship with the clients, keeping them informed, answering queries and arranging review meetings where appropriate.
*Effectively use research and planning systems and platforms such as FE Analytics, Selectapension, CashCalc, AJ Bell Investcentre, Aegon (ex Cofunds).
*Be responsible for ensuring that recommendations are fully implemented in a timely manner and to the right quality.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry, compliance and regulatory developments.


The Person: The successful candidate must come from an IFA/wealth management background and have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience within technical paraplanning. You must also be used to working with a Financial Planner on a 1 to 1 basis. Essential qualifications and experience includes:
*Being QCF level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum) and ideally Chartered.
*Prior experience in a whole of market, IFA advice environment ideally with exposure to complex-case work including IHT planning and trusts
*Demonstrable knowledge of, and proficiency in, FE Analytics, Selectapension, CashCalc, AJ Bell Investcentre, Aegon (ex Cofunds) or similar.
