Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an FLT / Machine Operative to join a busy recycling and processing site in Norwich (NR9). This role involves operating machinery and using an FLT to remove and transport 1-ton bags once filled. This is a active hands-on position within a consistent and steady-paced working environment, offering a temp-to-perm opportunity
Location: Norwich (NR9)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Hours:
*Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 18:00
*Friday: 07:00 – 16:00
Key Responsibilities:
*Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move materials and finished 1-ton bags
*Monitoring the machinery to ensure smooth operation
*Handling and moving processed materials into bulk (1-ton) bags
*Removing and transporting filled bags using FLT
*Carrying out general plant and yard duties
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*Reporting any faults or issues with machinery
*Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
*Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
*Previous experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or processing environment
*Experience working with machinery or plant equipment (preferred)
*Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
*Ability to work in a dusty, noisy environment (PPE provided)
*Good awareness of health & safety
*Reliable and hardworking with a strong work ethic
