This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly/recently qualified accountant making their first move out of Audit. This will be a varied role and work across group; producing management accounts, technical accounting, with stakeholder engagement and a range of interesting projects.

Our client is a market leading UK Wide Organisation with a best in class finance function, based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.
Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
*Support with group consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
*Key involvement in the year-end audit process, acting as the main contact for auditors
*Balance sheet reconciliations and review of financial controls and processes
*Support cashflow reporting and provide financial analysis where required
*Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and reporting
*Drive process improvements across reporting and controls
Profile
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
*ICAS/ACCA Newly-Qualifed
*Strong grounding in financial reporting and audit
*Exposure to multi-entity or group structures advantageous
*Confident communicator with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
*Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
*Keen to make a first move into industry and develop commercially
