Music Travel Coordinator
We’ve got our hands on a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take on a different position in the corporate travel industry. Our very special client is looking for someone to join one of their key, niche departments (music and touring) to support the very busy senior travel consultants with their work booking the travel for bands on tour.
The role of Music Travel Co-ordinator will encompass a variety of duties that will ensure your days are busy and your mind kept active! Learning all about this specialised sector, you’ll become an important part in this companies quest for providing an outstanding service to their clients at all times.
A snapshot of the duties for this Music Travel Co-ordinator will include:
Learning how to issue airline tickets and hotel documentation
Working together with the travel consultants on their range of tours as bands travel the world.
Providing accurate, up to date and organised admin support which could include compiling rooming lists, updating traveller profiles etc.
Liaising with airlines and hotels for things such as actioning special requests.
Building relationships with hotels and chasing unpaid commissions.
Booking web based airlines
The role is Monday- Friday, fully working from home.
We’re looking for you to have a keen eye for detail and a personable nature with excellent communication skills over the phone and email. You’ll have experience in the travel sector with a mind that thinks outside of the box!
