Job Description:
Yard Operative
Wolverhampton
£12.21 per hour
Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm, Fridays 7am-12pm
37 hours per week
Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Yard Operative based in Wolverhampton.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for full time work with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
Duties will include:*Operating within a busy yard environment
*Loading and unloading goods safely
*Using simple despatch software systems for stock and order processing
*Handling materials and preparing orders for dispatch
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
*Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required
Requirements:
*Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
*Combi Lift licence preferred but not essential
*Previous yard or warehouse experience preferred
*Basic computer skills and confidence using simple despatch software
*Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
