Job Description:
Role Purpose We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plasterer / Multi-Skilled Finisher to deliver a high standard of plastering, artexing, tiling, and decorative repairs across residential properties. You will play a key role in providing a right-first-time service, ensuring customer satisfaction, safety, and quality workmanship on every job.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out plastering, artexing, tiling, rendering, coving, and decorative works to internal and external areas.
*Complete repairs and planned works within agreed timescales, aiming to resolve issues first time.
*Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues regarding job progress and completion.
*Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation, including correct use of PPE, equipment, and COSHH controls.
*Accurately record work completed, materials used, and job costs using electronic systems or handheld devices.
*Apply a Schedule of Rates correctly, ensuring works are costed accurately.
*Maintain stock levels and materials in the works vehicle in a cost-effective manner.
*Keep the works vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy, reporting any defects promptly.
*Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota when required.
*Support other trade colleagues as needed to deliver the best possible service.
Requirements*Proven experience in plastering, artexing, tiling, rendering, and decorative works.
*NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering (or equivalent time-served experience).
*Experience working within a trade or maintenance team and meeting tight deadlines.
*Ability to accurately record job details, materials, and costs.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Physically capable of manual, hands-on work.
*Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
Please note: This role is subject to a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
