Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Food Manufacturing | £49,000 - £52,000 | Days (7am-4pm, flexible)
We’re recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer to join a well-established food production business. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership role while staying actively involved on the tools.
The Role*Lead and support a small team of 2 engineers
*70/30 split - electrically biased, hands-on role
*Maintain and troubleshoot:*Sensors, relays, and drives
*Single & three-phase motors
*Food production machinery
*Drive reliability and continuous improvement across the site
Requirements*Electrical qualifications (essential)
*Food/FMCG manufacturing background (essential)
*Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
*Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on
Training & Progression*Some training provided
*Limited progression structure currently, but opportunity to shape the role
Package*Salary: £49,000 - £52,000
*Hours: 7am - 4pm (flexibility required)
*Shift Pattern: Days only
*Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
*Pension: NEST scheme
*Healthcare: Available after 1 year
*Overtime/Shift Allowance: None
