Job Description:
Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Egham, Surrey area.
Responsibilities:-
*Working with the China export team closely
*Ensure that all relevant emails, documents and information are uploaded / added into Boxtop. This includes copies of all export documentation and relevant emails in case of future audits
*Arrange collection of any U.K. shipments for export to China and Nigeria, directly through a designated haulier/courier company and ensuring all correct documentation is in place
*Keep warehouse aware of any direct deliveries from UK suppliers/courier or any other 3rd party
*Handling transhipments for Nigeria
*Issue export entries correctly using cds / sequoia
*Ensure all shipments are exported / completed correctly and in a timely manner once the shipment has arrived into, the designated handling warehouse
*Assist, mentor and train other staff members in exports and procedures
*Ensure invoicing requirements are met, issued correctly and in a timely manner. Ensure to work compliantly with AEO and compliance procedures
*Ensure that all relevant emails, documents and information are uploaded / added into Boxtop. This includes copies of all export documentation and relevant emails in case of future audits
*Ensure in house training is up to date
