The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy and well-established dealership in Yeovil. This is a key position responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the workshop, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
You’ll act as the link between the workshop and front-of-house, driving performance while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities*Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop
*Allocate work efficiently to Technicians to maximise productivity
*Monitor workshop loading and ensure deadlines are met
*Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
*Support and motivate the workshop team to achieve targets
*Liaise with Service Advisors on work progress and updates
*Maintain health & safety standards across the workshop
*Assist with quality control and final checks where required
About You*Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician ready to step up
*Strong leadership and organisational skills
*Ability to manage a busy workshop environment
*Excellent communication skills
*Good technical knowledge across a range of vehicles
*Full UK driving licence
