We’re supporting a well-established and rapidly expanding premium consumer goods business to recruit a confident and proactive Credit Controller.
You’ll join a collaborative finance team where your work will have a direct impact on cash flow and key customer relationships!


Location & Flexibility
*1 day per week in Rushden HQ
*4 days remote working
A great balance between autonomy and team collaboration.
You’ll manage a £10m-£15m sales ledger, working alongside another Credit Controller, and take ownership of key accounts including major UK supermarket retailers.


DAY TO DAY
*Take ownership of a large, complex ledger and drive cash collection
*Build strong relationships with key customers, including major grocery retailers
*Proactively chase overdue invoices and reduce aged debt
*Handle deductions, disputes, and claims via retailer portals (e.g. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda)
*Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently
*Work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
*Post and allocate incoming payments
*Produce aged debt reporting and support month-end processes
*Assist with credit risk management and credit limit setting


YOU?
*Proven experience as a Credit Controller (ideally within FMCG or consumer goods)
*Strong SAP experience (essential)
*Experience managing large ledgers (£10m+)
*Familiarity with UK supermarket portals and processes
*Confident handling deductions and disputes
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Knowledge of EDI invoicing and retailer compliance
*Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
