Job Description:
Finance Manager | Medway | Paying £50k - £60k DOE
We’re working with a growing organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their senior finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role offering real ownership across financial reporting, leadership, and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the production of monthly management accounts, providing clear commentary and variance analysis
*Coordinate balance sheet submissions in line with group reporting deadlines
*Present financial performance updates to senior stakeholders
*Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability
*Establish, document, and maintain robust financial policies and procedures
*Support cost analysis, pricing, and utilisation reporting
*Oversee tax compliance and calculations, including VAT, corporation tax, and expenses
*Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, advisors, and banking partners
*Own divisional budgeting and forecasting processes
*Lead and support ad-hoc projects, including process improvements and systems enhancements
About You
*Qualified ACCA or CIMA (or finalist) with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
*Proven leadership experience, with confidence managing and developing others
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challenge at senior level
*Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
*Comfortable working autonomously while remaining a strong team player
*Demonstrates a proactive mindset with a strong work ethic
