The Role
You’ll support learners across Criminology programmes, helping them develop subject knowledge and critical thinking skills linked to real-world contexts.
*Deliver engaging lessons across Criminology courses (A Level / WJEC / Access)

*Teach topics such as crime and deviance, criminal justice systems, and theories of crime

*Support learners with coursework, assignments, and exam preparation

*Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds:
Essential:
*Experience teaching Criminology or a related subject (e.g. Sociology, Law)

*Strong subject knowledge

*Ability to support academic learners

*Strong communication and organisational skills

*A flexible and reliable approach

Desirable:
*Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET)

*Experience within Further Education or Sixth Form

*Industry experience within criminal justice or related fields

*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

From schools, FE, or industry?
