The Credit Controller Assistant will support the Accounting & Finance department in ensuring timely and efficient debt recovery processes within the professional services industry. *Assist in monitoring and managing client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
*Support the preparation and distribution of client statements and reminders.
*Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
*Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing queries and disputes.
*Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment agreements.
*Assist in preparing regular reports on outstanding debts and cash flow forecasts.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all credit control activities.
*Provide administrative support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller Assistant should have:
*Previous experience or knowledge of credit control or similar financial operations.
*A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
*Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and handling account discrepancies.
