Job Description:
Electrical Assembly Operative
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £27,000–£28,000
Shifts: Days
We’re working with a manufacturer in Rotherham who are looking for someone to join their production team.
This is a hands-on role building, testing, and repairing battery systems and electrical parts. You’ll be working on new products as well as fixing returned items.
What you’ll be doing:
*Building and assembling electrical products
*Soldering and wiring components
*Testing products to make sure they work properly
*Charging and checking batteries
*Inspecting products before they’re sent out
*Finding faults on returned items
*Stripping down and repairing faulty units
*Re-testing products after repair
*Keeping records of work completed
*Updating systems with job progress and parts used
*Keeping your work area clean and safe
What we’re looking for:
*Experience in a manufacturing or production role
*Some electrical assembly or wiring experience
*Ability to fault-find (nice to have, not essential)
*Basic IT skills (Outlook, Excel etc.)
*Good team player with a positive attitude
