Are you a dedicated and resilient Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a school in South Manchester to recruit a Maths Curriculum Lead from September 2026.
The school is a Pupil Referral Unit, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be managing the Maths department for all sites.
As a Maths Curriculum Lead, you will:
*Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to pupils
*Work alongside other teachers and the SEN team to identify barriers and plan accordingly
*Build rapport and provide pastoral support to pupils
What we are looking for:
*An excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
*Previous experience teaching GSCE maths, preferably within a SEMH setting
*Experience planning, leading and teaching
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
*Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential
To Be Eligible You Must:
*Hold the Right to Work in the UK
*Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
*Be able to provide two professional child-related references
