Job Description:
Food Technology Teacher - Full Time (Long-Term)Location: Keighley
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Veritas Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Keighley area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner to join a supportive department and make a positive impact on students’ learning and development.
The Role:*Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to secondary-aged pupils
*Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
*Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
*Monitor and support pupil progress effectively
Requirements:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
*Strong classroom management skills
*A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
