Rate: £50 - £70ph
*Private Client Lawyer requirement on a Locum basis.
*To start early June 2026 for 6 to 8 weeks
*Reason - Due to a period of sickness
*Cover is for a Head of Dept level
*Hybrid working available, but at least two days per week on site as still heavily paper based files

Our client, a long standing high street law firm in North Somerset, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer for a Locum position covering a sickness absence. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to provide short term support in their specialist area of private client.
Position Overview
The Private Client Solicitor will handle a typical private client caseload, including wills, probates, LPAs, and general elderly client advice, ensuring clients navigate legal challenges effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
*Manage a caseload of wills, probates, and LPAs
*Provide general legal advice to elderly clients
*Ensure clear communication and transparency with clients
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Requirements
*Fee earner with minimum 5 years’ PQE in Private Client matters (could be Solicitor or Legal Executive, or otherwise qualified by experience).
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills
*Happy to work hybrid on site/remote.
