We’re partnering with a well-established client in the Bury area who is looking for a proactive Credit Controller to manage customer accounts, ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices, and support strong cash flow across the business. This is a key role focused on maintaining financial stability while building positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities for a Credit Controller:
*Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and other communication methods
*Monitor customer accounts and identify outstanding debts
*Allocate payments accurately to customer accounts
*Resolve customer queries relating to invoices and payments
*Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all transactions
*Produce and review aged debtor reports
*Assess customer creditworthiness and set credit limits where required
*Escalate problematic accounts or long-outstanding debts
Skills and Experience for a Credit Controller:
*Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Good attention to detail and organisation
*Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively
*Basic to intermediate Excel and accounting system knowledge
