The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Lecturer of Economics to join a dynamic Business & Technology department within a well-established Further Education college.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver A Level Economics alongside modules up to Level 5, within a supportive and forward-thinking environment that embraces digital and blended learning.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver engaging teaching across A Level Economics and related programmes (Level 1-5)
*Plan and prepare lessons aligned with awarding body standards
*Monitor student progress, set targets, and support achievement
*Deliver blended learning using digital platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams)
*Provide pastoral support and guidance to learners
*Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and attainment
*Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
*Participate in open days, enrolment, and student recruitment activities
About You*Degree in Economics or a related subject
*Experience teaching A Level / Level 3 Economics
*Strong understanding of teaching, learning & assessment in FE or Sixth Form
*Confident using digital tools and blended learning approaches
*Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed / Level 5) or willingness to work towards
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
