About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and enthusiastic Registered Manager to lead our children’s home. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide strong, compassionate leadership and lead by example in all aspects of care and practice
*Ensure the home operates in full compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
*Develop and maintain a positive, child-focused culture that promotes wellbeing, resilience, and growth
*Support, mentor, and inspire staff to deliver outstanding care
*Build effective relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
*Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes
*Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the service
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
*Experienced in managing within a children’s residential setting
*A natural leader who leads with integrity, empathy, and professionalism
*Creative in their approach to problem-solving and care delivery
*Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
*Kind, patient, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children
*Confident in managing teams and fostering a positive working environment
Essential Requirements
*Relevant qualification in childcare or social care (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent)
*Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
*Proven leadership and team management experience
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
