HR Business Partner (FTC)
Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract (strong likelihood of extension or permanent opportunity)
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Business Partner / HR Generalist to join a fast-paced, evolving organisation on a 6-month FTC. This is a key role supporting the delivery of a new people strategy, with responsibility for a broad range of HR operational and advisory activity.
You will act as a trusted HR partner across the business, ensuring robust HR operations, strong employee relations support, and seamless end-to-end people processes.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving, regulated environment, and enjoys working in a varied, delivery-focused HR position.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver day-to-day HR operations aligned to the wider people strategy
*Provide expert ER support, managing cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance
*Review, update and develop HR policies ensuring compliance and best practice
*Act as HR lead liaison with a third-party payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and issue resolution
*Oversee full onboarding and offboarding processes
*Support managers with HR advisory guidance across the employee lifecycle
*Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
*Ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies and procedures
About You*Proven experience in a HR Generalist / HRBP / HR Ops role
*Strong background in Employee Relations case management
*Experience working with outsourced payroll providers
*Comfortable creating and updating HR policies
*Experience within a regulated environment (highly desirable)
*CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
*Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
*Pragmatic, commercial, and solutions-focused approach
*Able to work at pace in a changing environment
What’s on Offer*£50,000 – £60,000 salary (DOE)
