Job Title: Laser Operative
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Duration: Temp to perm/ ongoing contract

Shift: Nights

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operative to join a well-established manufacturing operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a night shift position offered on a temp-to-perm basis, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate laser cutting machinery (CNC preferred)
* Load and unload materials onto the machine safely
* Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
* Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required
* Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met
* Carry out routine maintenance and keep work area clean and organised
* Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
* Previous experience operating laser cutting machines
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Good understanding of sheet metal processes
* Ability to work independently on night shifts

Shift Details:
Night shifts (hours to be confirmed), with regular overtime available.

Contract Type:
Temporary to Permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
