This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of GEM Partnership who are currently trading as a recruitment and training business, our client Is looking for a nWarehouse Operative to work part of a stores team supporting the production based onsite. Warehouese Operatives are involved in the picking, packing and material handling of a range specialised products and responsible for upholding quality and safety standards during the process.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
*Supporting in the overall production of high quality products according to company standards and JWIs
*Working as a member of multi-skilled stores team
*Operate warehouse equipment
*Carry out basic quality checks
*Cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas.
*Report on defective products, machinery or stock
*Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations and handling of materials in the factory
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
*Warehousing experience (essential)
*Being able to follow job work instructions
*Able to work to within tight deadlines and with minimum supervision
*Ability to work in fast paced production and warehouse environment
*Able to work as part of a team and independently
*Punctual and good time & attendance record
*Knowledge and understanding of 5S
Pay Rates and Times
£12.71
Monday to Friday - 06:00am – 02:00pm
Start date for this role will be within 1 week of application
