Job Description
*Contract Type: Permanent – 37.5 Hours Per Week
*Days of Work: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
*Hours of Work: 02:00 to 10:00
This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.
Key Duties Include:
*Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
*Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
*Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
*Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
*Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
*Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
*Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
*Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
