Job Title: Steel Erector
Location: Fargate, Sheffield
Pay Rate: £18-£25 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Steel Erectors for an immediate start on a project based in Fargate, Sheffield. The role involves erecting structural steelwork on-site while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
*Erecting structural steel components in line with drawings and specifications
*Bolting, leveling, and aligning steel frames
*Working safely at height and adhering strictly to site health & safety procedures
*Coordinating with site supervisors, crane operators, and other trades
*Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Steel Erector
*Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred)
*Ability to read and interpret structural and assembly drawings
*Good understanding of on-site health and safety regulations
*IPAF / PASMA / Slinger Signaller (advantageous but not essential)
*Full PPE
*Strong work ethic and reliability
