Pensions Audit ManagerLocation: London (Hybrid working)

Ambition is recruiting a Pensions Audit Manager for a highly regarded professional services firm with a strong presence in the pensions market. This role offers the chance to work with a varied portfolio of pension scheme clients while developing leadership, client management and technical expertise in a supportive and progressive environment.
Flexible working is encouraged, with a hybrid office/home setup available.
Key responsibilities*Manage a portfolio of pension scheme audit clients, reporting directly to a Partner
*Lead statutory pension scheme audits from planning through to completion
*Prepare audit planning, completion and findings reports
*Take responsibility for audit delivery, budgets and deadlines
*Act as the main point of contact for trustees and other stakeholders
*Manage, review and mentor audit teams, supporting their ongoing development
*Ensure audits are delivered in line with professional standards and quality requirements
*Identify value-add insights around governance, risk and controls
*Lead additional pensions assurance and risk management projects, including client liaison and report writing
Skills and experience required*ACA, ACCA or CA qualified
*Strong audit background with pension scheme audit experience
*Good working knowledge of the Pensions SORP and relevant pensions regulations
*Experience managing audits and supervising junior team members
*Ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines
*Right to work in the UK
