Key Responsibilities of the Buyer
*Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions
*Manage the procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring seamless operations
*Analyse market trends and make informed purchasing decisions to maximise value
*Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement strategies with business objectives
*Continuously explore new sourcing opportunities to enhance the Buyer’s portfolio
To excel in this Buyer role, you will need:
*Demonstrated experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement position
*Strong negotiation and contract management skills
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
*Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Please note due to the nature of this role you will be required to travel both UK and some European travel.
