The role will be to work with our mortgage advisers to assist with all aspects of the administration of loan applications from initial enquiry stage through to loan completion. The successful candidate would also be responsible for other ad hoc admin tasks from different aspects of the business including compliance and sales and marketing.
Key Accountabilities*Requesting references relevant to each application (from lenders, accountants, solicitors etc)
*Logging new Enquiries and the updating of the various spreadsheets needed in the Residential Dept
*Compiling updates to send to brokers and clients throughout application and offer stages but also chasing relevant parties for updates.
*Following up cases with lenders, clients & Brokers
*Ensuring the CRM system is regularly updated with the correct details and the cases are up to date.
*Answering inbound calls
*Inputting enquiries onto CRM system for advisers
*Checking documentation on cases to ensure correct and in line with what has been requested
*Instructing, and managing the valuation process for certain lenders
Skills & Competencies*Pass internal competency tests post induction
*Good communication skills essential for dealing with brokers, borrowers and lenders, especially on the telephone
*Ability to manage own diary and meet strict deadlines.
Knowledge & Qualifications*Previous experience within administration roles is essential and experience in the financial services industry specifically property finance is preferred but not essential.
