About the RoleAdele Carr Recruitment have partnered with a leading UK professional services business who are looking to add a Accounts Assistant to their growing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, modern organisation within the legal and professional services sector. You’ll receive full training and support while working in a busy finance function, playing a key role in processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities*Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
*Post payments, receipts and transfers in a timely manner
*Set up and process BACS, TT payments and cheques
*Allocate funds received into bank accounts
*Use online banking systems for electronic payments
*Ensure client account payments comply with company policy
*Deal with fee earner queries and resolve issues
*Support compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
*Carry out general administrative and ad hoc finance duties
What We’re Looking For*Previous office or finance experience
*Strong numerical and analytical skills
*Good attention to detail
*Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Able to work as part of a busy, fast-paced team
*Organised with the ability to manage deadlines
