About the Role
*Coordinating customers and assisting in the safe loading of customer vehicles as part of shunting duties.
*Liaising with customers in person and over the phone to support the smooth execution of delivery operations.
*Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure.
*Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers’ expectations are consistently met.
*Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
*Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
*Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you’re always compliant and prepared.
*Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count.
*Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
*Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
*Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
