Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will be responsible for:
*Leading the delivery of corporate tax services for a diverse client portfolio
*Overseeing and developing a team, delegating work and supporting their growth
*Providing technical advice on complex tax matters and supporting tax planning projects
*Managing client relationships, understanding their business needs, and ensuring exceptional service
*Reviewing complex corporation tax returns and group submissions
*Driving new business by preparing proposals, fee quotes, and attending client tenders
*Delivering departmental training and sharing technical knowledge with the team
*Reviewing WIP monthly, ensuring fees are raised and provisions are updated
*Championing new technologies and more efficient ways of working
*Supporting team management, including holiday approvals and participating in interviews for new hires

What you will need:
*Previous experience in a similar role such as Corporate Tax Manager, Tax Supervisor, or Senior Tax Advisor within an accountancy practice
*A recognised accountancy or tax qualification (e.g. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA) or qualified by experience
*Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and compliance
*Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients with complex needs
*Experience leading and developing teams
*Excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise clients and colleagues
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
