Regulatory Submission Project Lead
Initial 4 month duration
Hybrid (remote - need to travel up to 3 days per week)




We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the energy/utility sector to appoint a RegulatorySubmissions Project Lead for a high-profile, fast-paced programme. This is a critical delivery role supporting the development of regulatory submissions and engagement with Regulators.




This opportunity sits at the heart of a major programme with real business impact-where accuracy, pace, and strong stakeholder collaboration are essential.




The Role
You’ll work closely with the regulation team and wider business to build robust regulatory submissions, pulling together both quantitative and qualitative evidence. This role requires strong delivery focus, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate under pressure in a dynamic environment.




Key responsibilities include:
*Gathering, structuring, and validating evidence for regulatory submissions.
*Translating complex regulatory requirements into clear actions for internal teams
*Coordinating input from multiple stakeholders across a matrix organisation
*Managing progress using project management tools and ensuring deadlines are met
*Producing high-quality documentation and presentation materials for senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies
*Supporting executive engagement and facilitating workshops to shape submission narratives
*Acting as a central point of coordination-tracking down information, challenging inputs, and ensuring accuracy


What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in a regulatory, policy, or consulting role, ideally at Manager level
*Experience delivering complex submissions to regulatory bodies, government, or boards
*Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct line management
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
*Highly detail-oriented and delivery-focused, with experience meeting tight deadlines
*Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
*Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to understand commercial drivers
*Experience in a regulated environment (energy sector preferred but not essential)
*Ability to challenge, influence, and drive outputs from senior stakeholders
