Senior Claims Adjuster Financial Lines
Location: London (Hybrid – 4 days office / 1 day remote)
A highly regarded Lloyd’s Lead market insurer is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to join its established casualty (PI, D&O, FI & Tech E&O) claims team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a visible, high-autonomy role within a collaborative and technically strong environment.


The Opportunity
You will join a specialist team handling a diverse and complex portfolio of casualty claims, with a particular focus on Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines (D&O and FI), as well as optional opportunity to work in a new line of business to the syndicate, Tech E&O.
This role offers significant primary lead responsibility, with adjusters typically managing the majority of claims from first notification through to resolution. You will play a key role in driving strategy, influencing outcomes, and maintaining strong relationships across the market.

Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of complex primary and lead casualty claims from inception to settlement
*Conduct detailed coverage analysis, liability assessment, and quantum evaluation
*Develop and execute strategic claims handling plans, including litigation oversight where required
*Act as a key point of contact for clients and brokers, leading negotiations and providing clear updates
*Build and maintain strong broker and stakeholder relationships
*Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
*Contribute to team performance through collaboration and knowledge sharing


About You
*Proven experience handling casualty claims within the Lloyd’s market, ideally in a primary lead capacity
*Strong technical expertise across Professional Indemnity and/or Financial Lines
*Confident in managing complex liability and coverage issues independently
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-facing approach
*Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
*High level of emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive or high-value claims
