The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates. This is a fast-paced, target-driven, and highly rewarding position, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing candidates through to placement and aftercare. You will work closely with senior colleagues and stakeholders to deliver a professional, compliant, and responsive recruitment service.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Management
*Proactively source candidates through headhunting, warm calling, networking, marketing, and social media
*Manage the full candidate journey, including compliance, pay rate discussions, and final negotiations
*Build and maintain long-term candidate relationships, offering guidance on career progression and opportunities
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the CRM system
Client Management
*Develop and nurture strong relationships with client organisations and key decision-makers
*Understand client requirements, recruit to specific needs, and manage bookings via client portals
*Prepare CVs and manage all communication with clients regarding suitable candidates
Payroll & Timesheet Management
*Manage candidate timesheets from submission through to payment
*Resolve queries and chase outstanding timesheets to ensure timely and accurate payroll
Time Management & Effective Working
*Plan and manage your workload to maximise opportunities with both candidates and clients
*Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet business, client, and candidate needs
Skills & Attributes
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building ability
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
*Target-driven, ambitious, and resilient
*Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
