A secondary school in Bury is seeking to appoint a committed and suitably qualified Teacher of Spanish to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2026.

Role and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 teaching may be available)
*Planning and delivering lessons that promote high standards of teaching and learning
*Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress in line with school expectations
*Contributing to the continued development of the MFL curriculum
*Upholding the school’s values and contributing to the wider life of the school community
Person SpecificationApplicants must demonstrate:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*A relevant degree in Spanish or a related discipline
*Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
*The ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
*A professional, reflective, and collaborative approach to teaching
