Self-Employed Waking Night Carer – Immediate Start – SS13 Area

We are urgently seeking an experienced and compassionate self-employed Waking Night Carer to support an elderly gentleman based in the SS13 area.
This is an immediate-start position providing overnight support within the family home for an individual living with late-stage Dementia and Parkinson’s disease following a recent hospital discharge.
The Role*Waking night care within a private home
*Providing reassurance, monitoring and personal support throughout the night
*Assisting with mobility and comfort
*Supporting ongoing physiotherapy needs where required
*Ensuring the client remains safe and comfortable overnight
Hours*5-7 nights per week
*Approx. 8/9pm – 7/8am
*Immediate start available
About the ClientThe client recently returned home from hospital after a lengthy stay and now requires overnight support. His wife is currently having to sleep on a wooden floor to make room for a hospital bed setup, making urgent night support essential for both their wellbeing.
Requirements*Previous experience supporting individuals with Dementia and/or Parkinson’s disease
*Compassionate, patient and reliable nature
*Moving & handling experience
*Relevant care qualifications/training advantageous
*Enhanced DBS preferred
*Must be self-employed and able to invoice for services provided
*Right to Work in the UK
